Family, Food, Farm, Freedom!

With me, that's what it's all about, and it's all connected!
I find myself being pulled back to a simpler time and place, where each of these fundamental ideas were interconnected, and the role of all formed a strong sense of community, something sorely lacking today.
Happily married for more than 30 years to George and mother to 9 unique and beautiful children, daily life is filled with home schooling, preparing meals, and the running of a very busy (and messy!) household. Somewhere along the way I find time to read, listen and learn a little each day. And in my "spare" time I enjoy indulging my creative side in soap making, jewelry, paper crafting, crocheting, drawing and painting. Just a little !-)
We have moved from our farmstead in Pennsylvania (where we raised much of our own food) to a mountain top in Virginia. Life is very different here from what it was on the farm (no more cows or chickens), but still very rich and busy!
I enjoy teaching others about all that I do, and sharing what I have learned over the years. Check out my schedule-you may find that I will be speaking somewhere near you! Or if you are interested in having me teach for your group, write me via the contact form and I'll see if we can work something out. I have a list of presentations and workshops I'm already teaching, but am also available to create something specific to your needs.
Want to learn about the work of my talented husband? His website is under construction right here.
